Intarsio, designed by Garcia Cumini for Cesar, is the kitchen collection that pays homage to the ancient artistic woodworking techniques that for centuries have adorned Italy’s most beautiful architecture and furnishings; a tradition of excellence that Intarsio makes its own and reinterprets with contemporary sensitivity.?
Intarsio - Architectural Connections is a project defined by the interplay of horizontal and vertical forms created by the wood grain, generating surprising optical effects, in particular:
INTARSIO ISLAND with Snack Table.? Doors in structured Champagne lacquered Intarsio, worktop in MDi Ananda with integrated five-zone induction hob and touch controls on the surface.? Integrated matte black equipped channel and Snack table in bonded Eucalipto veneer.?
ON THE WALL AROUND the island: columns in Eucalipto Intarsio veneer with retractable door system and a passage door with 180-degree opening.? In the niche, an equipped channel with integrated lighting in a black finish and worktop in MDi Ananda.?
PANTRY in Noce Moro melamine with shelves featuring integrated lighting and Maxima 2.?2 base units with worktop in MDi Ananda.? Trilli in Sabbia technomat with integrated lighting.?
ON THE WALL on the opposite side: columns in Eucalipto Intarsio veneer with retractable door system.? In the niche, Dressup Bronze with glass shelves in Bronze and back panel in Specchio finish.?
It is deviating from the rules that makes the biggest impression.? I love symmetry but not convention.? I look for the original that inspired the repetition.? Those who put their trust in tradition know that to innovate, sometimes, it is simply necessary to change the point of view.?They create new proportions that give rise to new sensations.? And in this, we discover a different kind of beauty each time.?
